Mr. Croasdale has responsibility for developing and managing Virginia Tech's strategic partnerships with private sector organizations, research universities, government agencies, and economic development groups; specifically in areas relating to information technology, Internet 2, and advanced telecommunications activities. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Hud was the Director of the Old Dominion University Northern Virginia Higher Education Center. In 1994 he was appointed by Governor George Allen to serve as the Director of the Council on Information Management and functioned in that capacity as the Chief Information Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Croasdale earned a BS degree in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
