How do you bring the advantages of health care services to people and places that do not have access to such facilities? By utilizing telecommunication networks capable of delivering advanced applications and services. Telehealth and telemedicine refer to health and medical applications and services delivered in real time at a distance utilizing advanced telecommunications. Telemedicine typically refers to the delivery of clinical services such as examinations and consultations via the Internet.
