Abstract:

Duke University Health System  and other community organizations have partnered to meet the health needs of Durham area residents.  The Lyon Park Clinic is an example of t in which community organizations and the University have partnered to  create and operate a program to serve the community. This collaboration gives community – especially the underserved – another access point for health care with an emphasis on overcoming financial, language and cultural barriers.
