You are invited to the debut of Southside Wireless Wi-Fi hotzones in the downtown areas of Chatham, Danville, and Gretna.  The announcement will be held on November 3, 2004 at 2 p.m. in front of the Pittsylvania County Court House in Chatham.  Southside Wireless is associated with eDan, a Future of the Piedmont Foundation project funded by the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission.

In addition to several speakers, demonstrations will follow the program that highlight the convenience and usability of the free internet access now available to the citizens of Chatham, Danville, and Gretna.

If there is inclement weather on Wednesday, the announcement will be rescheduled for Friday the 5th at 2 p.m.  We will notify you via email if the announcement is being postponed.

We hope to see you next week!  Bring your wireless laptops and pocket pcs!
